My vampires can be good looking, but I want them to be evil.~~ I really loved reading your post. The Vampire of Croglin Grange story is soooo eerie. I love how the vampire creeps up on its victim. But wouldn't Miss Cranswell become a vampire too? Although, Underworld has a pretty good combination of the two!

New follower, nice to meet you Elizabeth! My first vampire was probably the Vampire of Croglin Grange. Years later I saw "Nosferatu" and it reminded me of Croglin Grange. My first movie vampire was Christopher Lee in "Dracula Has Risen From The Grave". It scared me half to death! Although Lee is a handsome man there was no doubt his Dracula was a vicious monster. Nothing romantic about him at all. I also like "Salem's Lot", TV and book. Very scary, too. The boy knocking at the window still gives me goosebumps.Elizabeth Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02322056244180901707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7757587731494610772.post-28788890729199293042013-02-14T05:07:55.318-05:002013-02-14T05:07:55.318-05:00I came in to vampires via Dracula (movies not the ...I came in to vampires via Dracula (movies not the book) so to me the vampire was originally the handsome man who was a monster underneath. I've always enjoyed the romance vampire, but sometimes I find he or she is too de-monsterfied and like to get back to the bad.

I've never heard of The Vampire of Croglin Grange, thanks for sharing, it was a great story.

I think my favourite vampire horror has to be Salem's Lot by Stephen King. I love the book and both TV adaptations.Tasha Duncan-Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12591239019422681163noreply@blogger.com
